That would be the common answer to any question you ask a girl about her love life, why she won;t make the first move.
"Bakit? Magpro-propose ba ko sayo?"
That would be the thing the guy says in his mind after hearing that stupid comment from the girl.
As much as I hate senseless babble, I hate senseless babble about WAITING more.
Not the normal waiting crap, but the LOVE WAITING crap.
The scene where the girl keeps on waiting for the boy to make his first move, whether it be a proposal, a kiss, a hug, a call. The girl keeps on thinking that she is special, that she should always be the one to receive the actions rather than being the one to do it as well, it's like some girls really liked being chased after. Then if the guy doesn't propose, kiss, hug or call her, she'll go into this stupid depression, she'll make stupid comments, bitch at the guy with her friends and slit her wrists in public, you know... EMO shit.
What people fail to see is that THE GIRL IS WAITING but while she is impatiently "waiting" THE GUY IS ALSO WAITING FOR HER. Before making any move, the guy wants a confirmation. A signal that the girl returns his feelings, NO ONE WANTS TO BE IGNORED. They don't want their actions to be considered futile, and be laughed at. That is the worst thing that could happen for a guy, so he waits for a confirmation. Even just the slightest confirmation would be of great help, anything that would give him... THE CONFIDENCE.
I'm not here to be a love guru or anything related to that crap, I'm here to say that IT'S STUPID. Cause while the girl waits, she doesn't know that the guy waits for her as well. So, they both continuously wait for each other until their mutual feelings fade into nothing. not even friendship. not even hate. just... NOTHING.
Waiting is fine. Just as long as the girl's not a SNOB and the guy's not a WHIMP.
